I hear this all the time from people who are in my office complaining of neck and back pain. Many of these people are begin seeing me days, weeks, months, and sometimes years after the accident. I can tell you this much, it doesn’t take an 18 wheeler going 75 mph to cause significant injury. Many of these people say they the person was only going 25 or 30 mph. If we calculated the physics behind a 1500 lb object moving 30 mph, it was scare you as to how much force that object has. The best thing to do after an accident is to make an appointment to see a chiropractor. At the very least get checked out to make sure nothing is wrong with the spine and/or muscles around the spine. An injury that goes unresolved for too long with never heal right. That’s why 50 percent of people involved in a motor vehicle accident will have life long problems.. you don’t want to be in that 50 percentile. We know how to treat these injuries, and we are the best at it. First piece of advice, find a chiropractor. Second, make sure the chiropractor does a number of xrays and physical exam findings. Third, make sure you trust the person delivering your recommendation.

P.S. Its okay to talk to your doctor about whether or not you should attain legal representation, or if you want to handle the auto claim case on your own. Its best that everyone knows whats going on.
